AlNiCo Pot Magnets
AlNiCo pot (round base) magnets provide much stronger and directional strength than the same AlNiCo magnets used without the cup. A pot magnet closes the magnetic circuit and focuses the strength through the holding surface. Any magnetic field leak is minimized. The steel cup around the AlNiCo pot magnet also provides protection for the physical magnet itself thereby extending the serviceable life of the pot magnet.
