Product Description
This AlNiCo pot magnet is made of AlNiCo magnet encased inside of a steel cup. The steel cup and the magnet form a magnetic circuit so both the N and S poles of the magnet appear on the openning end of the steel cup. This tripled the holding power of the magnet. A steel disc is provided to close the circuit during the transportation and storage, which needs to be removed when it is to be used.
This holding device is used mostly in the metal industries, labs and machine shops. The holding power of this magnet is 33 lbs. The threaded hole on the top of the magnet is M6.
